The Kentucky Office of Adult Education (KYAE) Lesson Bank is an open educational resource available to all adult educators in the state of Kentucky, as well as throughout the United States. The Lesson Bank provides quality lesson plans for instructional use.
To view and download complete lessons, you must first create an account. Your account will also be your personal repository of lessons you have saved.
To view available lessons:
- Click on Search for Lessons in the navigational bar
- Select the relevant content area (RLA, Math, etc.).
- Click Lessons
- Click the correct strand
- Click appropriate NRS level.
A list of lessons at that specific NRS level will appear. Click on the preferred lesson title to view a brief synopsis of the lesson.

Get Started with At-A-Glance Crosswalks and Lesson Lists
Click on the “At-A-Glance RLA and Math Crosswalks to GED® High Impact Indicators” tile to find master lesson crosswalks organized by math and RLA content areas. These crosswalks organize lessons by GED® High Impact Indicators, College and Career Readiness (CCR) Standards and National Reporting Service (NRS) for Adult Education Levels.
Click on the “At-A-Glance Lesson Lists” tile to find master lesson lists organized by RLA, math, career exploration, career cluster, soft skills, and student retention/persistence. These lists organize lessons by lesson title, author, career cluster, and NRS Level/CCR Standard/Employability Standard.
The crosswalks and lesson lists allow educators to speed lesson searches and improve accuracy of lesson choice to meet student needs.
