There are 16 career clusters leading to various career pathways. Instructors can incorporate these clusters into curriculum design and instruction. Adult education services will include workforce preparation activities and training for specific occupations; this will allow students to achieve their educational and career goals. Lesson Purpose

The purpose of this lesson is for students to learn the importance of budgeting from a monthly income and analyzing common monthly expenses in order to select a career that will allow them a reasonable standard of living. This lesson aims to motivate students to further their education and set career and financial goals.
