Lesson Purpose

Students will practice active listening and checking for understanding skills in order to better communicate with the people they might interact with in health care settings.


Lesson Objectives

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to demonstrate active listening and checking for understanding to confirm that they are hearing another person correctly.
