There are 16 career clusters leading to various career pathways. Instructors can incorporate these clusters into curriculum design and instruction. Adult education services will include workforce preparation activities and training for specific occupations; this will allow students to achieve their educational and career goals. Lesson Purpose

When job-seeking, students will need to understand terminology used, such as median salary, in order to determine whether or not the job will meet their financial needs. In addition to learning the skills necessary to calculate salary information, they will also learn more about their field(s) of interest.

Lesson Objectives

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to: Evaluate the median salaries of given jobs to determine standard-of-living allowed by these jobs by correctly answering 85% of the assessment.
