There are 16 career clusters leading to various career pathways. Instructors can incorporate these clusters into curriculum design and instruction. Adult education services will include workforce preparation activities and training for specific occupations; this will allow students to achieve their educational and career goals. Lesson Purpose

The ability to read and assess job descriptions is essential in pursuing a career pathway.  Explicitly communicate to students that knowledge of a job/career informs the choices that will impact their futures.


Lesson Objectives

Students will read about career opportunities in IT to determine key details relating to educational requirements and available resources to pursue their chosen pathways.
