Adult education services will include workforce preparation activities and training for specific occupations; this will allow students to achieve their educational and career goals. Lesson Purpose

Why is this topic important to the learner?
Making decisions based on information learned from graphs is an important task in the workplace.  Several times a day we have to make choices and decisions based on the information we find in graphs (bus schedules, menus, work orders, etc.) Knowing how to do this makes our lives easier.


Lesson Objectives

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

·         Find information in workplace graphs

·         Summarize information in workplace graphs

·         Make inferences based on the information found in graphs
Write a short response explaining their answer, using evidence from the text
