Lesson PurposeThe purpose of this lesson is to teach students how to use and determine scale factors for models and maps. The students will realize the importance of scale factors and how they are used in daily life. The students will see how map scales are used in order for us to know how far it is to a destination as well as the importance of scale factors used in construction. |
