Funky Patterns

Identify and describe patterns and relationships using diagrams, words, table, graphs, and or equations to predict outcomes in a variety of patterns seen in real life scenarios.

GED Content Areas

  • Algebra and Functions

Funky Functions

  • With an emphasis on using real-world problems, apply the mathematical uses of inputs/domain and outputs/range to determine if their relation is a function, and if the function is linear or nonlinear.
  • Understand that a function assigns only one output for each input

Funky Equations of the Line

To interpret and connect the various forms of linear functions (words, tables, equations, and graphs) for easier interpretation and prediction.

  • Algebra and Functions

Y=MX+B (Just how FUNKY IS THAT?)

This lesson teaches students to use their knowledge of linearity or nonlinearity with functions and input/output tables to make sound predictions about future events.
