Lesson Purpose

To teach students how to analyze a text to determine how to solve a problem systematically and then apply the knowledge gained to solve a new problem

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • Describe the multiple parts that comprise a system
  • Describe how to solve a problem systematically
  • Work with a partner to propose solutions to a problem
