Lesson ObjectivesAt the end of this lesson, students will be able to explain how an author’s word choice reveals his/her purpose. The instructor will model how word choice reveals the author’s purpose by analyzing a video, students will work with a partner to determine how word choice reveal’s an author’s purpose in a given text, and, finally, students will work independently to do the same. |
