Lesson Purpose

The purpose of this lesson is to enable students to explain the impact of the Industrial Revolution/Roaring Twenties on the US economy and society.

Lesson Objectives

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • compare and contrast assembly line technology with the one-man-show operation
  • discuss important inventions during the Industrial Revolution
  • analyze the Roaring Twenties and its impact on American economics/society
  • take a side and write an analysis of the Roaring Twenties explaining student’s viewpoint
Student Target

“I can explain the impact of the Industrial Revolution and the Roaring Twenties on America’s society and economy.”
