Lesson Purpose

It is important for students to understand the importance of the therapeutic skill of developing the desire to help people heal as they consider careers in health care.


Lesson Objectives

Students will read patient testimonials, watch a video and read a text paired with the video, listen to the instructor model comparing and contrasting the texts, work with a partner to analyze a new text and video, and then work independently to compare and contrast two new paired texts.
