Lesson Preview

Preparing students for success early on by exposing them to others’ success can help to build confidence and motivation.

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

· identify similarities/differences in a text on the same topic (GED® attainment)

· identify and discuss barriers outlined in the text, comparing them to their own lives

· complete the barrier buster/support strengthener handout
