Lesson Purpose

The purpose of this lesson is for teach students how to properly bathe a long-term patient by means of a complete or partial bath.  They will learn and practice the procedures of both types.

 


Lesson Objectives

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

·         explain the procedure to the person before beginning the bath and during the bath using

          correct terminology

·         perform a complete bath and a partial bath using correct procedure

 I can describe and demonstrate the difference between a complete and a partial bath.
