Lesson PurposeThis lesson gives students the opportunity to practice and apply what they have learned about point of view, author’s claims, and evidence up to this point. Students will be able to express their own point of view about surface mining by gathering evidence, which will expand their content knowledge as well. This also translates to the workplace when students will have to express themselves in writing and/or argue specific issues related to their job. |
