Lesson Purpose

Students will learn to determine the theme of a text and then re-order events presented in non-chronological order into chronological order. Re-ordering the sequence of events was identified as a key foundational concept for success on the GED.

Lesson Objectives

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to determine the theme of a text and re-order events presented in non-chronological order into chronological order.

Student Target

I can determine the theme of a text and re-order events to the correct time order in which the events occurred.
